July 2023 Training

July training blended Fire and EMS. We focused on two specialized areas: swift water rescue and extrication.

Do you have an interest in Helping your community in times of need?

Garden Valley Fire is a full-service emergency response department providing basic and advanced life support, wildland/structural firefighting, high angle rope rescue, and swift water rescue.

Become an emergency medical technician today! State certified EMT class will begin this winter with pre-requisite training starting this Fall and classes will be held here in Garden Valley. All other disciplines are held in Garden Valley with training provided.

June 2023 Training

June training included: After Action Reviews, Wildland training, pumping and engine operations, hose lays and pulls, EMS scenarios, medical reviews, and a recognition and awards presentation.

May 2023 Training

Training classes in May were often cut short by calls but we managed to cover a lot of areas.
