Over the last couple of months you may have seen work near the Crouch Community Church. A new landing zone was under construction. The landing zone is operational and has already been used. There are still finishing touches like paint and lighting that will be completed in the Spring.

November training included: driving drills and snow chains, after action fire review, SCBA practice, in-service training for Stryker stair chair, and winter driving safety and practice.

In October we trained on a variety of skills. On the fire side we worked on hose loads, hose pulls, and structure scenarios. Perfect timing for a busy fire month.
EMS trained on pediatric conditions and studied case reviews with Cheryl Bice, a flight nurse with Life Flight.
All volunteers performed driver training in the high school parking lot. We navigated an obstacle course, practiced backing, spotting, and putting snow chains on the apparatus.

Many EMTs are currently working on their IV modules. EMS training had a heavy focus on IV practice for EMTs and setting up the supplies for non-EMTs.
